Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations against Brett Kavanaugh are serious. She is accusing him of violent attempted rape. “I thought he might inadvertently kill me. He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing,” she told The Washington Post, recounting the alleged incident at a high school party “one summer in the early 1980s.”
But her story is also growing less believable by the day. Here are eight reasons why it’s hardly “anti-woman” for senators to question her account at Thursday’s hearing:
1) For starters, Ford still can’t recall basic details of what she says was the most traumatic event in her life. Not where the “assault” took place — she’s not sure whose house it was, or even what street it was on. Nor when — she’s not even sure of the year, let alone the day and month.
Ford’s not certain how old she was or what grade she was in when she says an older student violently molested her. (But she doesn’t plead inebriation: She described having just “one beer” at the party.)
2) Ford concedes she told no one what happened to her at the time, not even her best friend or mother. That means she can rely on no contemporaneous witness to corroborate her story. …
Complete crap show ginned up by the Democrats to defer his confirmation beyond the midterm elections…
Get over it snowflakes, YOU LOST and your candidate should be in prison….
I caught a little of this so called investigation this morning and it quickly became evident that this is contrived BS . I watched as Finestein and others read from a script as did Ford . I watched as they tried to patch up the conflicting lies ,with rehearsed testimony, that she told and allowed her to systematically change her story because people began to see that her story did not pass the smell test. You would think that angels from heaven were in awe of Ford because she is more pure than driven snow .
I bet if and when the Republicans get their chance to question her that the MC will try to prevent them from disproving her story . When she started to talk about the hippocampus of her mind I Immediately recalled the Jodi Arias trial and all the nonsense that was supposed to give here an alibi as to having a selective memory and why her story sounded unbelievable.
I remember the exact moment my hand assaulted me. I told every one I knew about it but they just smiled. I finally got the proper authorities to do something about it and they put my hand on trial. My hand was found guilty but go off with a slap on the wrist. You can glean more truth from this episode than the one playing out on television today.
Has anyone ever heard of a “political puppet?”
