As one that had measles when young it was common to see “quarantined” signs posted on homes. I measles would go through a community or school but I never knew of one child that dies from measles, parents took care of their children in that day. Measles
incidence had been reduced even before a vaccine was developed. I am eighty and do no get the flu because I wash my hands and avoid touching my mouth, nose, eyes when away from home. I take personal responsibility for myself and have a healthy life.
Yeah gramps that was at least 80 years ago. It ISN’T common TODAY and for good reason.
