California is truly a State for second chances. Here we have a case of a career burglar, arrested at least once a year for 31 years—and still on the streets making more victim’s. The so-called justice system and politicians have cooperated with the criminal by allowing him at the age of 53 to continue his trade. Maybe at 65 he will retire on his Social Security?
“A 53-year-old man with more than 30 prior felony bookings was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary for allegedly breaking into someone’s home today at an apartment complex in El Segundo.
“It appears the suspect jumped over a security fence surrounding the
apartment complex and began checking for unlocked doors to apartments,”
Hawthorne police Sgt. Vince Martinez said. “After checking several doors, he
found one unlocked and went inside.”The ACLU, A 109, Prop. 47 are all part of the problem. Victims have no recourse—government refuses to protect them or their property. Maybe we should get a new crop of cops, officeholders and lawyers—is this why Californians will buy one million new guns this year? Government as a protector is a failure. Thirty times arrested says something, too bad government is deaf.

A 53-year-old man with more than 30 prior felony bookings was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary for allegedly breaking into someone’s home today at an apartment complex in El Segundo.
“It appears the suspect jumped over a security fence surrounding the
apartment complex and began checking for unlocked doors to apartments,”
Hawthorne police Sgt. Vince Martinez said. “After checking several doors, he
found one unlocked and went inside.”
Officers dispatched at 12:12 a.m. to the 900 block of Main Street
regarding a report of a man inside a resident’s apartment reported that a
resident was alone and asleep in his room, when he heard someone walk inside.
The suspect rummaged through several items on a desk before lying down on the
floor, Martinez said.
Officers arrested the man, who was possibly a transient, on suspicion of
residential burglary. The suspect, who may have engaged in other criminal
activity in the area, has an extensive criminal history including more than 30
prior felony bookings, Martinez said.
The suspect was described as black, 6-feet-1 inches tall and 145 pounds,
and was wearing a white tank top and gray sweatpants at the time of his arrest.
Hawthorne police asked anyone who might have any information about the
suspect to call them at (310) 524-2261.
