People are fleeing California. We all know of people leaving. Texas seems to be the place for them to go—it is still a Free State. No income or corporate taxes, gas in Dallas yesterday was in the $2.20 a gallon range. Cost of energy for homes and commercial/industrial properties are half or one-third the cost of California (this is because the State allows homeowners to CHOOSE their provider—hence competition brings prices down). When a criminal tried to mow down a whole church congregation, a parishioner, with a gun, put him down, saving dozens of lives. In California, dozens would have died (remember Borderline) and politicians would scream to take away YOUR gun.

Texans need to be careful. Too many California Progressives, that love to tax you but do not like taxes on themselves or the high cost of living are also moving to Texas—they need to leave their totalitarian values behind.

California residents continue to leave the state in droves. And new numbers from the Texas Realtors’ Association show it’s official. All our exes live in Texas.
According to the data from 2018, more than 86,000 Californians packed up and left for the Lone Star State. That represents a 36% increase.
The figures prompted a less than hospitable tweet from Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Thursday:
