Rollins, a Democrat, says up to 80,000 votes must still be counted in 41st District
Rep. Ken Calvert, R-Corona, and his Democratic challenger disagree on a lot — including whether the race for the 41st Congressional District is over.

Calvert declared victory Monday night, Nov. 11, in the race for the 41st, a strategically important district representing part of Riverside County. But Democrat Will Rollins maintains the race is too close to call and that as many as 80,000 ballots in the district remain to be counted.
Online results posted by the California Secretary of State on Tuesday morning, Nov. 12, show Calvert ahead of Rollins, 51.3% to 48.7%.
The race’s outcome is important to the balance of power in the House of Representatives. While the GOP is projected to maintain control of the chamber, the size of their currently narrow majority could determine how much progress Republicans and President-elect Donald Trump make on their agenda.
Calvert issued a statement after Decision Desk HQ, which reviews election data, projected Calvert to win the 41st, which includes cities in the Coachella Valley, Calimesa, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Norco, Wildomar and parts of Corona, Eastvale and Riverside.

Is this sourer grapes? It kind of sounds like it.
What is the majority registration of the remaining 80,000? Well if LA radio reports are correct the majority left are Republican.
So let’s see if this Democrat has the rounds to concede gracefully it the last ballot is done? Or will he like many of the rest called D demand a recount and then gross when it goes against him.
Calif. voters have finally awaken and reailized baked in inflation, intentional inflation demanded by Slick Newsom and his gang with minimum wages that are irrational, government jobs that have benefits and retirement that are stupid.
Hey Rollins, let’s see what you are made of.
I’ll assure you that Calvert will be far more polite if the shoe is on the other foot.
You know who needs grow some “rounds” is that orange idiot and Kari Lake. Those repubs never conceded anything but I guess in your eyes, only Dems are the ones that need to grow something…
Congratulations Ken Calvert! One of the few Republicans who showed up at Trump’s October rally. Maybe that is why others lost. I don’t count RINO Young Kim’s win since her district has a Republican majority.
I’ll never understand what takes California districts so long to count votes, when whole States with more population can get theirs done in 24 hours. Are they still going out trying to round up ballot forms and fill them in after “election day”? Are there ballots 80,000 mailed on election day that are not arriving until a month later?
