California lawmakers are weighing proposals this week that would offer government-funded health care to adult illegal immigrants but are at odds over how far to go.

Gavin Newsom has proposed $98 million a year to cover low-income illegal immigrants between the ages of 19 and 25, but the state Assembly’s bill would cover all illegal immigrants over the age of 19 living in California – a proposal that would cost an estimated $3.4 billion.
The state Senate, meanwhile, wants to cover adults ages 19 to 25, plus seniors 65 and older. That bill’s sponsor, Sen. Maria Elana Durazo, scoffed at cost concerns, noting the state has a projected $21.5 billion budget surplus.
Of the three million in California who don’t have health insurance, about 1.8 million are illegal immigrants, according to legislative staffers. Nearly half those have incomes low enough to qualify them for the Medi-Cal program. …

Law Makers can give away health care as long as they give up their entitlements in exchange. “Sen. Maria Elana Durazo, scoffed at cost concerns, noting the state has a projected $21.5 billion budget surplus.”…it’s still our tax dollars, isn’t it? What a load Maria.
Amen. “Budget surplus” is bureacratese for “oops, we overtaxed you.” Of course, instead of returning the “surplus” to its rightful owners, i.e., the taxpayers, the apparatchiks in Sacramentograd want to give it to illegals. Just imagine you return a big screen tv to Best Buy. But instead of refunding you the purchase price, the sales associate gives it to some random person in the parking lot.
The term “illegal alien” (more accurate than illegal immigrant) presumes uninvited alien. Why should my tax money be used to benefit someone here without permission? It is obvious the politicians who advocate for the poor illegals while taking more and more of my money are not supporters of citizens. That makes them worse than “not my friend”. Any immigrants brought in should be only by merit.
Are they Stupid? NO.
Are they Politically driven? YES
Do they care about corruption of freedom? NO.
It is called brain washing. Once conditioned they cannot seem to understand the devastating outcomes.
It appears to take a crash of the Soivet Style before people get it. Even then the power elite will not want to give up dictatorial power and call it in the name of the People.
